Choosing the Right Major
 

A key factor in determining the type of degree you’ll need for your future career is selecting the major that is right for you. For some careers, the connection between major and career is very clear. For example, to become a mechanical engineer, you would major in mechanical engineering. For some majors, like psychology, liberal arts, and political science, the connection is not as clear. However, these majors can prepare you for a wide variety of career options.
